I wrote this song following the 2016 shooting at Pulse nightclub in Orlando. I was deeply saddened by this event and couldn't shake the idea of loosing someone so unexpectedly, before their time. We're only here briefly. I wrote the song as a reminder to myself and others to tell the people we love how much they mean to us, while we are able. This sentiment is amplified right now with both COVID-19 & the Black Lives Matter movement. My hope in releasing the song now is that it offers some peace, solace and connection during these challenging times.
